Today was Taylor's 7th Birthday! And we definitely partied like ROCKSTARS.

Here are the steps to creating a rockstar party.
1. Rockstar hair.
2. Rockstar makeup.
3. Head microphone.
4. Arm Socks
(Yes Megan, "arm socks":)
5. Glitter.
6. Hannah Montana Songs.
7. Silly 7 & 8 year-olds

We had a great time, and Taylor said it was the "best day of her life."
What's better than hearing that? .....Seeing her face as she opened her hot pink IPOD shuffle from her Grama.

Around-the World Party

I got my Cookie Magazine in the mail today and I loved this "Around-the-World" themed birthday party Go here to read all the details.

Grad Party...

Angie through a great bash from her recent UNLV law grad husband. All of the details were just beautiful (no surprise there...) from the tissue flowers, to the home-grown wheat grass centerpieces, to the Congratulations banner, to the great food (my favorite was the chocolate cake). She definitely knows how to throw a perfectly put-together party and on top of that has an adorable family.... Charles is a lucky man!!...

Girl Next Door Show

Our semi-annual Girl Next Door Show was held Thursday night. So many talented women artists selling beautiful, hand-crafted items. If you are ever in Las Vegas during the spring or holiday show, it is a must to stop by! Here are a few shots from the show. (I did have my blankets there, but I forgot to take a pic ..oops)

Alphabet Cards

I found theses cute printable alphabet cards on wondertime. You could print them, laminate them, stick a metal ring in the corner, and have them on hand for any spare teaching moments... i love free stuff...

Forever 21...Finds of the Week

Forever 21 has some great tees right now. They even have one that says, "I'm tight like spandex." I dare some one to wear that one who is over 25, and send me a picture. (I would wear it, but that would be false advertising.:) The Canvas Pea Coat is rad, but $60 from Forever 21 sounds like a lot of money. It would probably a great buy for those states that actually have a Spring and don't just dive right into summer..... cute... cute....
