my friend Jek has the most beautiful twin baby boys and has decorated an UNBELIEVABLE nursery for them. {which is really not a surprise after seeing her little girl's nursery} i think she should win an award somewhere for cutest nursery in the world. girl's room.

we are in the process of purchasing a house and it looks like kate and taylor will be sharing a room. i am trying to figure out how to combine an 8 year-old who loves purple, turquoise, zebra, and rock stars with a 3 year-old who loves pink, princesses and more pink. Here are a couple ideas I've come up with.... now i have to see if I can get the girls to agree (this could be a challenge:)

rugs.

i am in need of a new rug for the family room. the one we have was never meant to be in there (considering it is a light ivory and is turning gray). so we are on the hunt. here are some i have been thinking of. i have 2 dark brown leather sofas in the room now with a massive ottoman that needs a fabric change and i switch pillows often. throw me some suggestions, i'd love to hear them. (keep in mind my children pretty much own this room:)

I got this clock from Target the first week we were married. (10 years ago...) It was on it's way to the trash, and then...
I got a little crazy and decided to take it apart and see what would happen...
Sprayed blue.Cut and adhere paper to fit the inside.
Adhered numbers to the inside of clock cover.Put the clock back together again, and ta da... just another random item to stick in Taylor's room....
