good morning sunshine.

i am so happy with my latest purchase from etsy. "bread and butter" is one of my new favorite shops.

nothing is better than waking up from here....
and going into the hall to see this...
it just so happens this is what my mom and dad said to me every morning and what I say to my children every morning. since chad doesn't say it to me, my new piece of artwork does the job...

So, I should be putting up Christmas decorations today, but I have to wait for Chad to get them out of storage.... so here is my piece of artwork. Maybe a little dorky, but it was fun.

art festival

Over the weekend, I took the kiddos to the Summerlin Art Festival, while Chad worked on making room to fit both cars in the garage. (After our "welcome to the neighborhood car break-in" last week, he thought it would be a good idea.)
Taylor found a painting that she loved and was so excited that she was able to meet the artist, Debbie Arambula. She now wants to "collect her art because she knows her."
I love the cultured adult in my little girl.

Art Camp

Taylor went to an absolutely amazing art camp last week. Her aunt put it on, and they did some outstanding stuff! (I wish she would have a class for adults..) I am so glad she exposed Tay to so many great artists, materials, and projects.

Cool Idea

Can't remember where I grabbed this picture from.... but I love the idea of putting a mural of a tree on the background and then framed pictures to make a family tree.... I think that this is a different concept than that.. but still very cool.
