Jackson got a cool "human dissecting kit" for Christmas, but he thought it was grotesque. Kate on the other hand was very intrigued. She is always the first one to ask to see a bloody nose, a scrape on the knee, a bump on the head or stitches, but I had no idea how much she would love this thing.
She has spent hours daily working and "doing her surgery" as she calls it.
She told me: "When I am a doctor in a hospital, I am going to have to take this with me so I remember where everything goes. I want to put everything back the right way."
smart girl.
She came home the other day from a long day of school, dance and friends and said, " I am so tired, can I just do some surgery now?"

Aww, Jennie. That is so cool! And I love that she still loves her blankie. So sweet.
I love it! That last photo is priceless!
Oh my gosh-I love this girl.
I would be pleased to have "Dr. Kate" work on me any time! Love to you!
Lisa
Jaisa does the exact thing when I wash hers. She will be playing with toys and it is like a 6th sense......she just KNOWS that her blanket is being washed. That kits looks like something my Tyson would like. Where did you get it?
Sooooo cute! What a smart girl! She looks darling as a little doctor with her glasses and gloves! I LOVE the picture of her waiting for her blankey....
That is awesome! The gloves & glasses had me cracking up. I love the quote "I'm so tired. Can I just do some surgery now?" haha.
this is maybe my favorite post ever.
I can totally relate to the blanket angst of a child. My 9 year old still gets mad when we wash her blanket!
Hey, I'm wondering how sites get added to your blogroll? I have a site that I think would be a good fit.
Thanks!
