I've been tagged...
Jek tagged me... so here it goes... 6 things about me:
1. I am a worrier. I worry about everything that I have no control over and everything that I do have control over. (I can't help it I get it from my dad... thanks pops). I worry about my children, I worry about what jeans I should buy, I worry about being late, I worry about my husband's job, I worry about growing old, I worry about someone, anyone, getting hurt, or do I dare say the word... "dying." I'm a nutcase, and I am working on controlling my excessive worrying... definitely not my proudest personality trait.
2. I love hip hop and old school rap. There I've said it. I am sure some of you are shocked, considering nearly all of my friends have their favorite "not very famous" bands, (that no ones ever heard of), or are in to some sort of alternative music. No, not me. Lay on the Justin Timberlake, Nellie Furtado, Timbaland, Nelly, Usher, Run DMC, and the top 20 count down and I'm in music heaven. .... I did give the whole band thing a fair shot, I even pretended that that Smiths, and the Pixies were my favorite bands in 9th grade. As a matter of fact, the first CD I ever bought was 9 Inch Nails, because I was told that was what I should buy. (nasty, I hated that CD) I wore my Doc Martens, tried to go in the mosh pits, dance all "weird like," and I was quite a "poser" all along the way. I couldn't wait to get home, turn on the hip hop and dance with my sisters to music that was actually "danceable."
Just check out my IPOD, J.T. just gets me going....
3. Don't like pets, don't like dogs. Cats are pretty much the scariest animals on the earth. Sorry animal lovers. (But we do have three gold fish) And I am sure we will have a dog some day - I heard it helps children develop empathy.... (Is there another way?)
4. I feel like I need to learn how to do everything. It's hard for me to buy something that I feel like I can make or do. It's a major issue which has led to knowing how to lots of things not very well, and nothing exceptionally well. Unfortunately, I've tried working on this, and I gave up... this is just me.
5. I still remember the helping verbs that Mr. Miller made us memorize in 7th grade.... be, is, am, are, was, were, been, being, would, could, should, may, might, must, will, shall, can, have, has, do, does, did. Impressed?.....
6. I am a crazy dreamer. I have multiple insane dreams/nightmares every night. I have woken up in a blood curdling scream because I could have sworn there was a midget army man in the room pointing a gun at me (my son went to an army party earlier that day). I woke up terrified because something was touching me and trying to get me, I woke Chad up screaming telling him something was getting me and so he started whacking whatever this thing was next to me.... it was Taylor. We didn't realize it until she was crying. ( She said, "Why were you so scared mom, I'm your daughter) I also have dreams of all kinds of different men, (don't worry, Chad knows). Some of them have been Tommy Lee - he really likes me; Lebron James - we were dancing the salsa together; Lance Armstrong - he was willing to quit his biking career for me. (All confidence building dreams) Chad thinks I'm nuts, especially when I wake up and am mad at him all day for leaving me for an Italian red head.....
I tag Emily, Emi, and Andrea, and Kristen (if you haven't done this too much)
