just do it.

I became basically obsessed with NIKE and all nike products in the 10th grade (1993 if you must know). I think it was because I had just started playing volleyball, because before that my converse and cheerleading shoes were as athletic as I got. I loved the logo, loved the "swoosh" and I became walking NIKE advertisement every time I played volleyball, exercised, and went to cheerleading practice. I have since gotten over it... well I still usually buy nikes over any other tennis shoe and I try to gently guide my children in the Nike direction when getting athletic shoes... but basically over it.

I decided it's about time i take a little of that multi-billion dollar company's advice that I so proudly advertised for them in high school and "just do it."

I have a HUGE weakness of thinking of ideas, looking for ideas, sketching out ideas, dreaming of projects, and never starting or accomplishing them before I have the next idea. Well, I am tired of myself! For the next few weeks, I will be "Just Doing It" (i am cracking up right now about what I just wrote thinking how pleased Chad would be at that statement, but you know what i mean...)

I will be working on a lot of the little projects I have been meaning to get to, so maybe I will blog, maybe I won't, but it's about time I stop thinking about everything and start doing...

I'm off to "do it"........

This is what I want to do this month as well! I am going to follow your example and do my own unfinished crap. Let's be accountable to each other. :) (plus I want to see what cool things you are doing)

Ya, like you don't "do it" enough already.
