back home.

My sweet Grandma passed away on yesterday morning. She is finally home with Grandpa. Every time I saw her since Grandpa died she would tell me how much she missed him. She was an example to me of pure, selfless love. My grandma raised my dad, which is a testament to how wonderful she is. She taught me about organization, serving others, being frugal, cooking meals for your family, keeping a clean home, baking apple pie, and most importantly, Christlike love. Grandma was super-duper witty up until the day she died. I went to visit her a couple of weeks ago and she was very ill. I asked her if I could get her anything and she said, "A big steak and potatoes sounds nice," she then told me that she couldn't believe she had been in bed all day and that she should be better tomorrow and back to her routine. There is so much I have learned from her and so many things that I want to do to honor her life. Now that she is looking down on me I am sure she isn't too pleased with my messy home, or lack of a structured routine, but I hope she is pleased with my desire to serve others and raise my children with love. I miss my Grandma and a little piece of me went with her, but I know I will see her again. I Love You Grandma.

As my Grami is also very ill, I need to take this next week to reflect, remember, and embrace my sweet Grandma's and their legacy. Emotions are flowing, tears are being shed, I'm just hoping to get through the coming weeks with strength. I will write again soon.

OOOOHHHH!! Sweet grandmas are irreplaceable. Sounds like she was a great little lady. Exactly, if she raised "superman" she must be superwoman!
