i gave in.

after many years of "i will never drive a mini-van," i have given in. obviously i was ignorant to the possibilities of a magic car (as kate calls it) when i made that statement in high school and beyond. my four little chicklin's pile in one after another with room to spare. i can go to the grocery store and have a stroller in the car, and the days of "car-dooring" everyone we park next to are over.

yes, i have swallowed some pride; yes, it will take me a couple weeks to get used to; yes, i am loving the "magic doors." BUT, whatever my reservations may have been, it is now final, i am the official newest member of the "mini-van club." (thank you allison for the induction)

I went through the same thing last year! I swore I would never... but they are so convenient and roomy - and SAFE. I still love mine :)

I drive the exact same mini-van in black too and I LOVE it. I was so hesitant and resisted for so long because of the coolness factor but it is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Love that car. You look darling in the photo with your kids. No one would ever know you have had four kids.

that is so funny! I have been tempted with getting a minivan before, but haven't given in, yet! It is very tempting, esp with the magic doors!

Like i always say. If you beg your husband for a mini-van when you only have 1 5month old then they must be special~

Nooooo! Say it isn't so Jennie! Tell me that what I just read and looked at was a figment of my horribly overactive imagination.

Ciao for now,

Sheri

Hi Jennie, I've wandered to your blog via my SIL Jennifer--I really like your "my beliefs" button w/ the temple silhouette. Did you create it yourself?

No!! I won't do it! jk- You know what? You are awesome to even admit both sides and publicize your change of heart. One of the things I dig about you. And looking good! Nice belt- I have the same one. ;-)
Just please, don't add the family stickers to the back window....

I fully support your decision to embrace the official motherhood mobile. I hope to join the clan with the next child.
