Here is a garage sale find from a couple weeks ago... only $15. Now the question is "What do I do with it?" The top is pretty banged up and there are quite a few scratches, but I still think it has a lot of character. Any advice on refinishing a coffee table from 1955?

This is super cool. I don't know what I would do... my first instinct is to make it solid and mod it out in shiny white paint (think Jonathan Adler furniture). Or black? It's a cool piece. Can't wait to see what you decide. And who in Vegas has something like that at a yard sale!? Sounds like I need to go with you on the hunt because all I find are junky kids toys and bad lamps.
